Financial workshop

Fun Interactive workshop for veterinary managers wanting to understand balance sheets and cash flows better.

If you’re a great manager, but when your accountant shows you a balance sheet or a cash flow your eyes go blurry – then this workshop is exactly what you need.

Most business owners and managers (even some accountants) don’t REALLY understand a balance sheet or cash flow statement. Even more importantly, they do not understand the real world strategic application of these tools.

We are inviting you to a unique experience, using a computer generated business simulation game that makes learning how cash flows, profit/loss statements and balance sheets work really fun. Working in small teams which compete against each other over a number of financial periods, you will experience the impacts your decisions and your competitors decisions make on your financial statements.

You will also act as the company accountant,  required to make forecasts and then see how accurate or inaccurate these were.
In an engaging and fun environment, your team will rebuild profit/loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements from the ground up.

Who should attend?

  • Veterinary business owners who want a better understanding of their financials.
  • Practice managers who are involved in any way either producing financial statements or using them to make decisions.
  • Anyone consulting with veterinary practices and helping them make financial decisions.

Due to the interactive nature and ‘gamification’ of this workshop,  it is limited to 24 places.
