APL Accounting News October 2017

APL are on the MOOve

We are packing up and moving paddocks over the next few weeks.  The APL pack have asked for a bigger greener pasture so we have obliged.  We’ll all be rounded up and loaded into a truck but we won’t be too far away from our current office in Cleveland so our down time and disruption will be minimal.

We have had a facelift

We are thrilled to announce that our new website is finally up and running.  It still contains the same useful information as well as some exciting new editions.  After months of moisturising, cleansing and toning, you will now find it smoother to navigate, contoured, and wrinkle free with a super fresh and, dare I say, more youthful appearance.  This cleanly shaven site is well worth checking out!

Client day – last call!

Our Brisbane client day was a huge success and we still have our Melbourne and Sydney days left to go.  A reminder (last one I promise) for these dates are:

Melbourne – Friday 13 October

Sydney – Sunday 29 October

If you haven’t booked yet, you can contact us at admin@aplaccountants.com.au to ensure you don’t miss out!

Time to set your ghouls

It’s a brand spanking new quarter, so it’s time to blow away the cobwebs and introduce your next quarterly theme and KPI’s without pumpkin out.  We would love nothing more than being tricked or even treated with pictures of your practices done up with your themes.  We might even be able to find a prize or two for the ones witch we find the best.  A theme doesn’t have to be ghostly, you can often pick up cheap decorations and props at the $2 shops without your petty cash looking too grave.

You can send your entries to admin@aplaccountants.com.au  The winner will be announced in our next newsletter, no one will be boo’d.  Well, perhaps only boos for the winner!?

We have hit our quarterly target

Mamma Mia, here we go again!  We have passed our quarterly ABBA/disco theme challenge and will be rewarded with a grand adventure to the Holey Moley Golf Club for an evening of tunes and mini golf.

Our target was to ‘ring, ring’ make contact with clients for our client days and annual reporting, ‘SOS’ respond to emails asking for assistance, ‘another town, another train’ was to have staff volunteer and prepare for client days, ‘take a chance on me’ was to have some new clients jump on board the APL disco train.

Like history books on the shelf, always repeating ourself … We are thrilled to bits and are really looking forward to this reward!  Some of us in the office are super competitive so this will make for an interesting evening. Knowing me, knowing you, without mentioning any names, there is nothing quite like watching a grown man have a tantrum if he doesn’t win.

Dog tails

Moving day!

With Daisy at the helm and her trusty gal pals Stella and Chica riding shot gun, Strudel gives directions to the new place from the back.

New places to sniff and territory to mark!  It’s an exciting time for the APL dogs.  ROAD TRIP!
