Why are you in Business? Where will your finances be in 10 years time?
Many of us are guilty of living in the moment. Our busy lives make us neglect planning for the future of both our business
and personal lives. We commonly come across business owners who have not given any thought to the future and asked themselves the important questions:
- What is my business really worth if I were to exit soon?
- What would happen if I was no longer able to work? Am I adequately insured?
- Am I making enough money and where will I be in 5 or 10 years time?
- Am I making enough money to retire?
- How should I invest my money? and can I minimise my tax by having a self managed super fund?
Are you wanting answers to these questions and many more? Anne is a qualified financial planning and happy to
arrange a meeting with you to address these issues. We can jointly agree an action plan to ensure you exceed your
future financial goals. Call us today on 07 3488 0131.
Bottom of the pack – Be Brief
Zack is a dog who is a couch potato and has an unusual life experience. His owners who were once exciting vets have now become boring accountants. They used to bring him into the exciting vet practice every day, now they bring him into a boring accounting office every day. This gives him a unique dog’s eye view on both professions.
I love cuddling up in bed and having a snooze while mom or dad read a good book. Currently they are getting
Joe McCormack’s bookBrief: Make a Bigger Impact by Saying Less.Thistackles the challenges of inattention,
interruptions, and impatience that every professional faces. Boy do I know the feeling of people just going on
and on and not getting to the point (giving me my treat).
If you have friends (and who doesn’t), who just ramble on and on via email, phone or even at a party when you’re
trying to get some food, then buy them a copy and your life will improve. It will also help you if you struggle to get
your message across concisely. I hate it when the vet just rambles on and doesn’t just get on with it and say I’m
fat! Have a read and learn the art of concise messaging.
